[Today Zack has a few errands to run- first of all, since Sokka's back, he stops off at the smithy to pick up a little something that he's hoping is finished by now. He's in luck, too, because after that visit is done he leaves the smithy with this glorious piece of weaponry slung over his back. It may look like a mess, but he is ridiculously excited about it. Thus, a voice post:]

Hey, any weapon fans out there who name their blades? How do you pick 'em out? I've never done it before, but it seems kinda fitting to start...

Oh, and I could use a couple of sparring partners over in the Battle Dome this afternoon of anybody's interested. Especially- Yuri, Light? ...Cloud? You guys up for it? I need somebody who can handle a big broadsword or two. [...Or six.

And that's where Zack'll be for the majority of the afternoon. Once he's had his fill of sparring (assuming he had some takers) he pops over to the community building Cloud lived in to check on him.

A short while later, after returning home with one less friend and one more sword than he planned to return with (and informing certain housemates of what he found) he adds to his journal-]

Hey, anybody who knew Cloud Strife... he's gone back home again. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Hold it, hold it! You're not going anywhere this time!

[As soon as Zack walks out of the smithy with that sword, there's an angry-looking teenage girl yelling at him...or so it seems. Her anger is actually directed elsewhere, but it's probably hard to tell with the timing.]

[Sokka is still a little confused as to how he got home from the draft. Or how Zack's final sword got done. He honestly doesn't remember finishing it. So when Zack walks in, Sokka is gaping at it and scratching his head a bit.]

[Zack glances over his shoulder, lifting a brow. He... has never seen this girl in his life. What?]

Are you talking to me?

[Zack wanders in about ready to track Sokka down and ask about it, but lo and behold, there it is! And... it looks finished! Cue the ultimate glee.]

Oh whoa, that looks amazing! Are you done already?

[Sokka doesn't even glance back. He knows who it is already. And Zack isn't quite as interesting as this.]

Apparently? I thought I had more to do.

You don't remember?

[Zack gives the sword a closer look, rapping his knuckles against the metal surface.]

This is some kinda trend, isn't it.

[Everybody's forgetting... weird.]

[ OH MY GOD. WHAT IS THAT?! IT'S LIKE GOD ON A METAL STICK WITH A POINT AND A VERY FINE BLADE.

She has never seen a more complex, intricate, and more importantly, beautiful sword in her life! Though she says this like every other day. She seems both elated and surprised! This is a wonderful, wonderful gift! ]

That! That blade! [ As she struggles to keep herself from exploding from sheer joy, the mun will be looking up as many positive superlatives as humanly possible. ]

[Oh, he can hear the enthusiasm in her voice. He grins at her, giving the hilt a little pat.]

Yeah, doesn't it look awesome? It's custom-built, too!

[ She tosses her hands up like an excited church choir member. ]

Are you kidding me?! The brilliance and angling of the blade! The sheen of the glare! The cleanliness! It's one of the greatest weapons I've ever seen! It reminds me of my own blade! [ And now she'll proceed to open up a scroll attached to her hip. It looks no larger than the size of Tenten's hand. ]

Your own? [Zack blinks at the scroll, wondering what the point of that is. Does she have a picture or something...?]

Yep! [ The scroll has a brief flare of smoke when she states a simple "hut". When the smokes dissipates, which does not take too long, she's holding an incredibly long blade with some general similarities to Zack. (Do note that the video I linked you it's only there for a couple of moments. ]

[ Ffff her voice is so even-toned it almost doesn't sound like a question at all SHE'S BEEN WAITING TO SEE THIS MYSTERIOUS COMMISSION OF HIS FOR LIKE, EVER, DUDE! ]

[PFFFFFFFT HOLY SHIVA SHE JUST PULLED THAT THING OUT OF NOWHERE]

Whoa, whoa! That's amazing, how'd you do that!?

[As cool as the sword is - and it is undeniably cool - her method of summoning it is what really catches him by surprise.]

It's done! And it's amazing, too! You've gotta see it.

[BOYFRIEND IS HAPPY CAN YOU TELL]

Huh? Who're you?

[She barely noticed him, and Precis didn't hear what he said. She's on a mission, this girl. That's exactly when a small robot runs out from the other side of the building. It spots Precis, then runs back into hiding.]

Sorry! I know you really wanna talk to me, but I'm trying to catch my Robbie. Ever since I found him, he's been acting even more rebellious than usual.

..Sorry to hear that. Again.

You want to name your sword Zack-san? How strange. [But to each their own, or something like that.] Maybe it's similar to how you would name a pet. How does 'Masuru' or 'Taiki' sound to you? Fuuko thinks they might fit a weapon, but seeing as Fuuko has no experience in naming weapons that isn't a guarantee!

[ He didn't really have much of a choice on his own weapon, but eh. ]

Just go and choose something that sounds cool.

[ ...Uh, Zack, why do you have two BFS? Aerith was going to greet him with a nice hello, but it trails off into confusion as she spots the Buster Sword. ]

Did...Cloud give it back...? [ Oh, hopeful optimism. Some days you are just unfounded. It's the explanation she'd like--Cloud remembered Zack and made up with him.

She's got a funny feeling it's not that, though. ]

[Well GEEEEEEZ, just call him out and make him feel obligated to say yes why don't you, Zack! ... Never mind that he'd give the same answer whether Zack said his name or not.]

Yeah, sure. I could use a break right about now as it is.

[ ... oh jeez. ]

Sorry to hear that.

[...Whaaaat...] Your- [He cuts off as the little robot appears - and disappears - so suddenly.] -Robbie?

[Did he just imagine that...?]

...Yeah, me too. [BUT HE WILL MUSCLE THROUGH IT.] I figure he's better off in Midgar anyway, so it's okay.

Masuru and Taiki? Do they mean something?

[He's... a little wary about taking name suggestions for his badass new swords from the starfish chick. No offense, Fuuko, he likes you, you just don't scream "badass" to him.]

Oh, sure, I want something cool, but it's picking a cool name that's the hard part!
