[This again... in this instance, though, Zack doesn't mind making the announcement. Luke had given him some bad news recently and it really seems to be hitting him hard, so it wouldn't be fair for the poor guy to have to tell everyone else, as well. He's been through enough lately.]

Hey guys, just a head's up... Guy Cecil's been sent back to his world.

Since we've lost him again, Good Spirits - that's the local bar here, for anybody who hasn't visited the place - is still looking for a couple more staff members, if anybody's interested. Servers especially. The place is run by me, Buffy, Raven, and Nami right now, but it's always nice to have a few nights off, so some extra hands can make a big difference for us. Inquire within!

We're trying to expand the menu to include some finger food, too- nothing too complicated, just stuff that's easy for anybody to make. Suggestions would be awesome.

If you're looking for help around the bar, I wouldn't mind it.

[She's been wanting to kind of wander about the bar and hopefully expand her knowledge of tasty alcohols. The ones she knows who drink always drink the stuff that tastes like acid death, so...yep. Besides! Lots of people pass through the bar - it might be fun, and a good chance to meet people!]

Only problem's that I'm a part-time kidsitter, too. Sooo...I dunno how often I'd be able to work, if that's okay?

Don't worry, we all take different shifts- the schedule is kind of all over the place. I'm sure we can fit you in, no problem.

Great! Since I'm...nooot sure bringing a kid into a bar is a good idea. FenFen would demolish me. But, y'know, maybe a day or two here and there - I'd just have to work it out with the people I live with and stuff. But if I don't do something, I'm gonna go bonkers.

Uh... okay then. well, Norma, we don't actually have a wait staff at all right now, so feel free to come on by the bar any time you feel like working and we'll have a job for you. We're busiest at night, but any help would be awesome, really.

Oh, working around the nighttime should be perfect, since Fifi goes to bed real early and stuff. [And that's when all the real fun stuff starts happening anyway.] Do I have to dress fancy or anything like that, too? Or is it "anything goes"? I get free drinks, right?

Hmm... let's see... yes, you can dress up if you want, but you don't have to. I do, but that's just because I was told it's more professional. And you can have all the free drinks you want as long as you don't get drunk on the job.

[As opposed to paying for them. She's joking, right?]

Awesome! [For both parts - dressing up and getting alcohol without being told she's too young and stuff. Best job ever! Now Norma just has to pick a comfy, yet kinda classy outfit to wear that won't kill her in this hot as heck season.] I promise I'll be on my very best behavior ever!

Are you down at the bar now? You could show me around before I get to work and stuff, if that's okay.

Oh, yeah, I'm there now- I'll be here for most of the day. Come on by!

[And after Norma slips into her sandals (why has she never bothered to get these before?!) and makes sure she looks well enough to go out, out she heads. She arrives in about thirty minutes, give or take, and slides right up to the counter and into a seat when there.]

[Zack's just chilling at the bar when she shows up, washing some glasses, since that is the perpetual duty of a bartender when he's not mixing. (Sigh, dishes.) He offers up a smile when Norma arrives, setting aside his glass.]

Hey! Norma, right? Welcome to Good Spirits.

Yep, that's me. [She raises her hand in a mock sort of wave and salute looks around the area. There really weren't that many people around at this time of day, was there? It's almost a little boring right now.]

Not much to do around here this time around, huh? Jeez...

Yeah, some days are busier than others. But! That means you can get the lay of the land, if you want. The place isn't that big, but I can still give you a little tour. Come on over to the back.

[He sets up a little bell on the front bar in case anyone new comes in and wants to order, then lifts the divider at the edge of the bar counter to let her in.]

[Ooh, a tour. Norma's never been behind the scenes of anything revolving around restaurants and bars and inns and the like. It's pretty cool, being able to just look at what goes into making jobs work - considering she's never really worked a lot in her life.]

Awesome, thanks! [And, she walks right past the divider, ready to follow the leader.] Is there a lot to...y'know, know? I'll be honest and say I've..neeever really done this before.

Not really? I mean, if you've got a decent head on you, you should catch on quick. It's just like being a waitress, only we mostly serve drinks. The biggest issue is not spilling the booze everywhere.

[He'll start with the back room. There is booze. Shelves and shelves and shelves of booze.

Yep. It's a bar.]

[Wow, this is actually kinda lame. Probably because Norma was expecting something spectacular or something, but hey. At least the wall of liquor is pretty cool. Norma gives it a once over, reading some of the labels to the various drinks with interest. There's no way she'll be able to memorize the entire thing in just a few minutes, but in time she just might.]

Well, that seems simple enough! You'll find I'm a quick learner. ...Not a bad selection, if I may so say. Any suggestions if I get, uh...thirsty? Nothing that tastes like acid, though, I've had a sip of some stuff like that before.

[And Norma sticks out her tongue to show her distaste. Blech.]

Well, if you don't like anything too strong, there's lots of options. Do you like fruity drinks? Or chocolate? There's plenty of really nice coolers around. Plus we make the standard juices, milkshakes, and sodas if you want something non-alcoholic, too.
