[Soooo he's been quiet for a few days, but as the mako poisoning works its way through his system, Zack's starting to speak out a little. Cue silly incoherent babblings.]

Spi... urk....

...auugh...






....don't..... eat.... my hair.

[Not that hard. Cloud fists his hands in the back of Zack's shirt, nodding jerkily since he doesn't trust his voice at the moment.]

[Trufact. And that's nice and all, but it's about all Zack's mind can fight off for the moment, so he holds the position for a few moments longer before slumping against Cloud with a weary murmur, hand dropping tiredly against the bedspread.]

[Cloud catches him, tensing for a moment before realizing what must have happened. Zack had to be exhausted, fending off the mako for that long; Cloud slowly lowers him back down, pulling the blankets back over him and fluffing the pillows up beneath his head and neck.]

Good night, Zack.

[And this time, he intended to stay at Zack's side until he woke.]
