Is there really nothing we can do except wait while people are out on these drafts? I hate not being able to help like this. It's so... [Depressing? Disheartening? WORRISOME AS HELL? Yeah, all of the above.] ...Man. I just-

[There's a sudden clatter and a startled, "whoa!" before a prolonged pause.]

...Huh? What are you doing here...? Hey!

[The journal is suddenly knocked over by a flash of movement and the sound of a pot breaking on the floor of the flower shop, cutting the entry off. It probably looks/sounds like a kidnapping, but surprise! It's not. Zack will be out and about in the village for the rest of the day, in three main locations- the plaza, Good Spirits, and then back to community building 4 to go check on Lightning's roommate, Hope. Since misery loves company, or something.

And wherever he goes, he's being followed by a winged wolf. He seems pretty unbothered by this fact, though he doesn't exactly give the wolf a lot of attention. It's a bit weird 8|a]

Hmmm... I'll overlook it this one time. He must have been pretty eager to find you. That's why he left, remember?

Did he? [He glances around at that, puzzled.] I didn't notice anything... hey, Daisy, did you bring- ...Stop glaring at me, I didn't come up with the name.

[Shuffle, shuffle...]

He's not helping me out here, Aerith. Was he supposed to have something with him?

What are you talking about? He's not glaring at the name. [He probably is. Just because Aerith called him that for four years...]

I gave him a letter when he left. ... I was hoping you'd get it. [She shakes her head. It was a silly thing to think of now.] But that doesn't matter anymore, since we're both here. I was just wondering!

A letter for me? What, you're a delivery dog now? [He nudges Daisy a bit, but the wolf seems unruffled by it.] I'll let you know if I find it anywhere, okay?

Okay. In the meantime, why don't you tell me what's going on back in the village? Are the flowers healthy?

Looks that way! Nobody's talking, but that's your specialty, not mine. They're all pretty well watered, at least!

Oh, like it's that hard to talk to them. They listen even better than people! [Now as for whether they respond. :|a] Thank you for taking care of them. With Vash and Raine here too... [even Kaori got picked... just about all the flower shop regulars are in the draft.]

Right! Pretend you're at Good Spirits, and the flowers are unwinding after a hard day of pushing through soil to grow.

...Granted, you'd have to be an idiot not to notice how much he likes yakking within five minutes of meeting him, but still...]

So, talk to them! Tell them how you're doing. When I get back I just might take them aaaall to myself, so make the most of your time now. [lol like they are such great company. But they are for her.]

[Said in jest, but... it kind of is a concern. He's never seen her in a fight after all.]
