[He really hates doing these... but he'd gotten the message earlier, and it's probably for the best not to delay things for long.]

Hey all- just a quick head's up. Yuri Lowell's gone home again. Everybody in Brave Vesperia, don't worry, okay? It's business as usual. I'm sure we can figure out where to take things from here. Yuri would want us to keep on trucking, so that's what we'll do!

Oh, and I've got an announcement for all you newcomers to Luceti, too! The name's Zack Fair, and I work at the local bar here in the plaza, along with Buffy Summers and Shizuo Heiwajima. The bar's called Good Spirits, and it's a great place for just hanging out and taking the load off. Not just for alcohol, either! So don't worry if you don't drink that stuff.

Come on in if you're ever feeling thirsty! We'd be happy to serve you.

[With that said- it's an Open Bar Post! Visit, mingle, chat with that handsome glowy-eyed bartender or each other, whatever. And once his shift is over, Zack will be going home (of course) a bit late, fleeing the thunderstorm. Good thing he's a durable sort. And there might be a nice surprise waiting for him tonight...]

Helios wouldn't mind at all from what I know of him; and Ginia? We spoke of it earlier in the week. She does not mind. You are, however, the youngest member in the house. You may be treated accordingly.

I still feel bad about surprising her in the kitchen. [Shaking her head she takes a sip of her wine when that last comment catches her attention.

Treated accordingly? It's been a while since she lived peacefully in a normal environment, Adele. She's going to need some reminding.]

What do you mean?

Like a teenager? You are, yes? [She's pointedly ignoring the alcohol being consumed here Sabriel. For all she cares you are European and know your limits.]

[All of a sudden Sabriel feels like one of the younger girls in the College getting caught by a prefect. And don't worry Adele, Sabriel is still getting a taste for wine so it's only for sipping. She's old enough to be able to enjoy it at home, why should Luceti be any different?] I am eighteen yes but I'm able to take care of myself-

And I've no doubt of that Sabriel. I was living on my own and married by the time I was eighteen, so I am not one to deny someone your age their independence. I simply mean to say that we might occasional give you a nudge to rest, or to get out of the house, for your own good. Not a direct order, just a friendly reminder. And there may be doting when you are ill.

[That's a whole new wave of information for Sabriel that takes her a moment to let sink in. It seems like Adele is constantly surprising her with the warmer, positive aspects of human nature and maybe something more what with the small, unfamiliar affectionate gestures she received from the older woman on her first night in Luceti. With the promise of even more possible affection to come she feels like the housemates form a sort of family together, no matter where each member originated from. A bittersweet sigh passes quietly from her lips as she wonders at how foreign the feeling is to her now.]

[Adele sips her drink and watches the thoughts and emotions filter over Sabriel's face. The fact that it was so foreign to her was more than a little sad, and she can't help but reach out and rub Sabriel's back. No one should be so alienated from affection or friendly regard. Though, honestly, Adele was in no place to talk. ]

[With Adele's hand warm against her back Sabriel returns to herself a little, just remembering that she wasn't so alone despite the initial solitude of her quest. She had her share of friends at home but now that she was Abhorsen, she'll be obligated to remain in the Old Kingdom and fight while they move on with their lives to University and from there, lives of privilege and luxury. Still, if there was something those girls were good at it was gossip and keeping in touch.

And then there was Touchstone. Her prince. Shaking her head she takes a large sip of wine, blaming the liquid for the faint blush he memory brings to her cheeks before giving Adele a small smile.]

You are welcome Sabriel. [Adele offers a gentle smile and squeezes her shoulder before returning to her own drink.] I think, perhaps, we should look over the item store sometime this week. To make your room less a temporary space and more your own, yes?

[Once the flush had died back down on her cheeks Sabriel nods to Adele's suggestion, smiling openly.] I'd like that very much. With any luck I might even find some of my things which are still missing.

Give it time. It took almost two months for my holster to appear. I am still waiting on my revolver- I know I had those from the point when I was taken.

I'm giving it another week to wait for my tools to appear or else I'll make them myself. It'd be better if I had my book but...maybe I'll find it in the library.

[Adele owned a revolver? That's a little surprising but maybe the circumstances in her world require it of her.]

You might. I have not thought to check for any books from my world outside of the usual reference material, but I am certain it will show up somewhere.

It's something of a family heirloom so I'd rather have it with me. For Abhorsen reasons. [That's all she'll mention about the book for now, lingering on it or her bells will only depress her and she's here to have a good time.]

Is that your last name, or your title?

It's my title now but it's something of a family name as well.

If it is important? It will appear in time. Or you may earn it with rewards from missions.

I hope so. There are other things I'm waiting on but I can make them myself if need be...but I'd rather have the book with me when I do. [Even though she's memorized everything she's read in it.]

It will appear eventually. I will start making my trips to the library again and look for it there; sometimes new books simply appear on the shelves.

Thank you Adele. It's a green leather book with silver clasps...and you won't be able to open it. [Nothing personal, it's just the nature of the book.]

I've been by the library a couple times already...it's incredible, the diversity of the books detail cultures of different worlds, I'll probably be spending most of my time there.

I spent most of my first two weeks in the library researching avian anatomy. I had thought it might help with learning more about the wings.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea actually. Did you find out anything interesting?

How to treat them should they be injured. IT was my primary goal in the research, truly.

That's always good to know...although it'd be hard to treat yourself I suppose. [What with how sensitive the wings are and their awkward placement, there's no clear way to reach around and tend to her own wings without help.]

I'm not much of a healer though.

There is another physician in the village I would trust to tend to my own should anything happen. And we do live with Helios, who is a talented healer. It gives me just a little bit less to worry about.
