Morning, everybody. Hope we're all well-rested, because today's gonna be busy...

Brave Vesperia, I think we should all be at the meeting. Can we do a role-call? Wanna see how many of us are still around. Another thing- might as well try to get this started.

Luke and I were talking, and we were thinking it would be good to get a summary of skills for the guild to keep track of. You know, so we're more of an anything-goes guild. I'm sure all of us are kind of tired of just building stuff. [He's looking at you, Sokka.] Anyway, if you could just let me know what kind of stuff you're good at, combat or otherwise, whatever you think might be useful to someone, it would really help! I'll look into making some kind of catalogue. [Or find someone to do it, since paperwork is not his thing.]

For those not in-the-know, Brave Vesperia is a guild of skilled people who get together to pretty much do whatever the village needs. I'm Zack Fair, and I've been running the guild for a while now. We're always open to new members, so if anybody's interested, just give me a ring.

Guild business aside, I also work at Good Spirits, the local bar here, along with Buffy Summers. Our staff has taken a big hit lately, so if anyone's free for taking a few shifts serving customers, we could use some help. Drop by the bar later today if you're interested.

[Zack will be at the meeting, then around the plaza close to home, and then bar later on, so feel free to find him wherever is most fitting.

For those who can't respond, Zack will bring this up at the next BV meeting. Some sort of indication of your character's response would be appreciated!]

[ Success for Baldr! Lack of goodies is no doubt a tragic disappointment, but attention from friend-Zack is never turned down when offered! The dog's bushy tail swings as he buts his head into the man blindly, apparently attempting to sidestep into the lap that's not even there....

Lightning simply takes in a deep breath though, far less enthusiastic; her arms cross over her chest, a frown steadily developing as she turns to look up at one of the village's buildings obliquely. ]

... I think- you've got the right idea in getting a handle on Brave Vesperia right now.

[ And not just for building giant bird houses; the more organization they've got, the better off they are in general in Lightning's eyes. She pauses as she keeps considering though- the matter at hand isn't exactly an easy thing to take a side on, even for someone as prone to jumping to conclusions as Lightning can be. ]

I hope so. I don't really know what else to do about it- we really are just the Build Guild, as it is. And that's not what Yuri wanted for us. I'd... like to at least do right by him, even if he's not here to see it.

[Because... he came back once. Maybe he'll be back again. And at least if that happens, they'll be able to say that they tried, right?]

[ Lightning tilts her head, sighing, before she looks down, dusting off and then straightening out the bottom hem of her shirt. That done, her hands find her hips, her demeanor quickly growing more insistent. ]

So, figure out what you've got, make some plans, and then train your members to follow them in case something happens. [ She glances up, steps past him, turns with her hand raised! ] You've got the groundwork already, but if you want people to start looking at you as something more than the place to go when they're looking to build a new horse-house... [ Stable. Whatever. ] ...you're going to have to prove yourself with action, rather than words.

How am I supposed to prove myself when there's nothing to prove myself against? This is Luceti. It's so... quiet. Ugh, you can't even fight the wildlife, they're so well-behaved they're practically cuddly.

[ Luceti isn't always boring. after all, and she's got a bad feeling about the tension rising over this whole... give us the blue guy back thing.

Well, until an opportunity shows itself, we need a backup plan. Prep-work is a nice start, but that's mostly internal stuff.

[Man, this is why Brave Vesperia is becoming obscure or - alternatively - the Build Guild: there really isn't a quick and easy way to make a name for yourself.]
