[This again... in this instance, though, Zack doesn't mind making the announcement. Luke had given him some bad news recently and it really seems to be hitting him hard, so it wouldn't be fair for the poor guy to have to tell everyone else, as well. He's been through enough lately.]

Hey guys, just a head's up... Guy Cecil's been sent back to his world.

[And since he'd rather not dwell on the bad news-]

Since we've lost him again, Good Spirits - that's the local bar here, for anybody who hasn't visited the place - is still looking for a couple more staff members, if anybody's interested. Servers especially. The place is run by me, Buffy, Raven, and Nami right now, but it's always nice to have a few nights off, so some extra hands can make a big difference for us. Inquire within!

We're trying to expand the menu to include some finger food, too- nothing too complicated, just stuff that's easy for anybody to make. Suggestions would be awesome.

[ Uh... especially since that one time Lightning chased her away that didn't involve Pao-Lin actually screwing around with stuff, she was convinced the (far too young for him anyway) girl was obviously there in trying to steal Zack.

But watching him flounder isn't so much in her interests, really, and storming off at this point is too drastic even for her. After another moment or so, finally she lifts her gaze up off of him in a thorough show of rolling her eyes; at last the tension dissipates at least a little bit. ]

Not sure it's original enough to warrant that.

Besides, Guy told you about Auldrant's maturity age, right? I haven't hit that yet! [GOD that makes it sound worse.]

Lightning sighs, leaning back when it becomes apparent he either doesn't have it in him to see it through or... has finally come to his senses over how fruitless the effort really is.

And yeah, she'll just let him continue to suffer for a few moments longer as she regards him without comment, sipping again idly at the unnamed slush. Just because. ]

... Maybe you should just stick to watching your tongue.

[He just sighs in a way that is probably pathetic and forlorn and very much like the puppy Angeal dubbed him, his head thunking quietly against the bar counter. He's such a lady killer, god.]

[Luke tries to think of a reason. ANY reason. ANY reason beyond "I don't like the taste of it except I can't taste it or even smell it".

But there isn't really a better reason than that. He wrestles with himself for a moment, turning his wrist as if that'll help him think better, then lets out a sigh.]

O-Okay, okay! But just one, all right? I don't drink that stuff.

[VICTORY. Zack grins, leaning back and rubbing thoughtfully at his chin.]

Excellent, excellent. Well, if you only get one, we'll have to make it a good one. How about one of the Auldrant drinks that Guy taught me? It'd be like a taste of home.

Depends on what you like. I can't tell you that- you just have to try drinks until you find a few favourites. Be adventurous!
