[There is a sound of small feet bouncing on something springy and cushioned. After a moment, a loud, childish voice joins the noise.]

Five little cactuars bouncing on the bed~
One fell off and bumped his head~
Hmmm hmm hmmm~

.... Ummm... I dunno what's after that...

Four little cactuars bouncing on the bed!

[ooc: Zack's awake! And yes, he is also a child. Six years old to be exact. He is also jumping rather shamelessly on Cloud's bed.]

[Zack shrieks in surprise and delight, rolling around again to try and escape, but the blankets have him well trapped. Instead he squirms around, wriggling, trying to at least get a hand free so he could retaliate.]

Ah! No fair, no fair! Cloud's a cheater!

[Not that he was upset in the slightest - on the contrary, he looked thrilled to have a playmate.]

[And now it is time for some taunting.]

Not a cheater, it's called being resourceful. You had already pinned yourself, so I took the liberty of tickling you once you did all the work.

Re... sourceful?

[Zack blinks, then squirms backwards through the blankets while Cloud's halted, climbing out the other end and lifting it up to push it over Cloud's head instead. He looks rather triumphant.]

I can do it too! Ree-zor-full!

[Cloud flails a bit, wrestling with the blanket and tugging it down to give Zack a surprised look.]

Resourceful.

[Zack flops down against Cloud's back, arms stretching over his shoulders, reaching in vain for the blanket.]

That's what I said!

[Holds it easily out of his reach, smiling at him before grabbing Zack's wrist -gently, sweet Holy this is a little kid- and flips him over his shoulder and onto his back on the bed.]

[....Well that's new. He'd been reaching for a blanket, and quite abruptly was flat on his back on top of what was left of it. How had that happened? He tilts his head back, looking at Cloud from upside down.]

What'd you do? I was over there!

I flipped you, you little dork. [Cloud grins down at him and ruffles his hair.]

[Zack pouts immediately.]

I'm not a dork! You are!

No, you are.

[Cloud sits back, still grinning at Zack.] But I can teach you how to do that if you want to know.

[Zack cocks his head to one side, brightening instantly.]

So I can flip you over?!

Maybe not me. I'm kind of heavy. But someone your weight, you probably could.

[Zack grins.]

Heehee, I'm gonna throw Raz when I get back! He'll be so surprised! Teach me, teach me!

First. [Cloud holds up a finger and adopts a serious!papa face.] You have to promise that you won't do it on tile, or rocks or any kind of hard ground. You could really hurt him if you do.

Uh-huh, okay. Promise!

[Zack nods enthusiastically, eyes wide.]

I don't wanna hurt anybody, ever! Mum says if you like to hurt people it's worse than the monsters outside!

Mm. Your mama is right. Come here, I'm gonna show you how to do it.

Okay!

[Zack scrambles over to Cloud, bouncing a little, ready and waiting.]

[Reaches out and turns Zack so that his back is facing Cloud, and reaches over his shoudler.] Okay, first you have to grab my wrist. If the person is a lot heavier than you, use both hands. Go ahead, I'll show you how once you do.

Uh, okay. [Zack reaches up with both hands, gripping Cloud's wrist. He's so big!] ...Hey you look kinda skinny, but you're really strong, aren't you, Cloud?

I guess you could say that. [Cloud reaches over with his other hand and adjusts Zack's grip, so that one hand is around his wrist and the other bracing his forearm.]

Because my arm's too big around for you to wrap your whole hand around, you need to put your other hand here and use this as kind of a lever. It's a good idea to do this all the time; it makes it easier to pull them over your shoulder.

[Zack glances back, studying where his hands are on Cloud's arm.]

Uh-huh, okay, got it!

[Cloud shifts so that he's kneeling instead of sitting, and uses his free hand to guide Zack into the next step.] As you pull on their arm, you have to drop your shoulder and dig it into their chest. Then you use your leverage to lift with your shoulder and flip them over. Simple as that.

[Zack's brows furrow, trying to see in his head what Cloud had explained. He turns a bit, peering back, and his elbow ends up in Cloud's gut.]

Uh... like that?
