Tifa, I've got Denzel with me and Simon at the clinic. They're sleeping right now, but they both could use a healer. Raine, whenever you're ready, if you come to cure Simon, would you mind helping Denzel too?

I guess we'll find out. Though her magic should be enough to heal a rib. It's the Geostigma that's giving us problems.

[Zack stands back to watch, waiting to see what happens.]

Yes, I think it should. She is considerably skilled.

[Raine reaches into her pocket and withdraws the unicorn horn again, then moves closer, grasping it in her hands and closing her eyes, silent for a moment as she concentrates, as this takes a bit more willpower than the other]

Unicorn horn, lend me your power. [She lifts her arms just a little, and then--] ... Resurrection!

[Zack waits, watching the spell go to work. He's always found healing magic to be exceptionally beautiful; maybe it's because of Aerith, he's not sure. But he just keeps watching, amazed. And is Simon's Geostigma scar starting to fade there...?]

[The light from the spell glows around Simon for a few moments more before seeming to fade, as it goes inward to thoroughly cleanse his body of the illness. Raine slowly opens her eyes and focuses her gaze on Simon's scar, watching it's progress carefully]

[Such a relief. Zack smiles, infinitely grateful as he watches the change at Raine's side. Simon looks better already, and he can't help but feel relieved. Cloud's going to be so happy that it's working - if Raine can finish the spell and cure it completely, they have a way to combat the spread of Geostigma at last.]

[She keeps it going for as long as she can; it's taxing, but watching that scar fade is certainly motivation.]

[Zack doesn't want to break her concentration; the Geostigma's fighting hard, yet bit by bit the scar fades away.]

[She definitely needs that concentration, as she continues pouring her will into battling the last of it, her eyes closed tightly again, strands of hair starting to stick to her forehead]

[And it all pays off, at least; with one last push, the Geostigma fizzles out of sight completely, and Simon's body relaxes at last, breathing normally, his skin slowly starting to regain a normal colour as his immune system stops overworking itself. Soon enough he'll be back to his old self again.

Zack's thrilled at once.]

Damn, Raine, I think you got it!

[It takes her a moment after Zack speaks for her to finish the spell properly, taking a few deep breaths and exhaling, slowly, before opening her eyes to check on Simon. It... worked? She needs another moment to gather her thoughts.]

Hmm... his body will take some time to recover it's normal strength, but that shouldn't take too long, without the interference of the disease...

That's great! You're a lifesaver. I'm sure Simon'll be fine in no time, now.

[She smiles warmly -- and wearily at him, carefully slipping the unicorn horn back into her pocket]

Yes... I'll be glad when he can start running around, and doing little boy things again. He's well overdo for that.

That's for sure. It's a huge weight off of Cloud's shoulders, too.

[In the meantime, Zack's watching her carefully.]

How do you feel? Are you okay, or do you need to rest? That healing looked pretty intense.

Yes, I can imagine... I only wish I was able to do this for Cloud earlier.

[It was subtle before, but now that the time is passing she's starting to show a few more signs of unsteadiness.]

... Ah. I was fine, but I have a feeling it's starting to catch up with me...

[Zack nods without arguing; she does look tired.]

You should get some more rest. Gelda can help Denzel.

All right, then. I'll go find her for you.

[She moves to take a couple of steps towards the door, but sways as she does, starting to crumple] -- ...!

[And Zack is a good boy, and is thankfully watching her like a hawk all the while, so as soon as she starts to fall he moves to catch her, supporting her hastily, looking rather unsurprised; apparently it really did a number on her.]

Whoa, worse than I thought! You alright?

[She's not handling this as well as she would have liked. Even as he catches her, it's still difficult to keep her feet. ]

... Sorry. Just got a little -- dizzy, for a moment.

[Well, time to play the chivalry card and hope he doesn't get smacked. Zack shifts a bit and scoops her up bridal-style, lifting a brow.]

It looks like the moment's not done, so let's get you a place to lie down, huh?

[Raine's so tired, that if she tried smacking him it would miss completely anyway, but it's not as if she can really navigate herself to a bed. She'll figure out how to explain this one to Albert later, sigh.]

... what?

... yes, of course...

[That's a relief; Zack doesn't like getting smacked :| but she looks totally baked, so he carries her out of that room and into another with a free bed, carefully laying her down and grabbing a blanket to drape over her.]

Get some sleep, and I'll make sure Denzel and Simon are taken care of. I'm sure they'll want to thank you but you gotta be coherent for that, okay?

[Stick a fork in her. She's hoping that the next few times she needs to use this, it won't wipe her out as ridiculously. As it is, sleep is definitely the way to go.]

[Token order given, Zack waves his farewell and is on his way, a little bounce in his step. After so much stressing and running around, things are finally coming together again.]
