Which was what, exactly..?

Hearts. How they worked, how they interact with memory... that sort of stuff.

...Uh. Kind of accidentally and we didn't know they'd be such a problem, but yeah.

...nice. What exactly did you guys do?

Well, the short version is that we introduced a shitload of darkness into the hearts of our first test subjects and seriously unbalanced their hearts. The shorter version is that we kind of killed some people by mucking around with darkness.
