Note to self: be more careful about who you flirt with. Sheesh.

So, lots of familiar New Feathers this time around, huh? It's getting kind of crazy. Is everyone getting settled in okay? Yuri, any guild business I should be doing?

It's been awfully quiet lately... not sure if we should be worried or what.

Oh hey, Spike! I got Tammy nesting in my room now. She's sulking, though, so I wouldn't let anybody bug her if I were you. They grow up so fast.

[C-Cute bird in lap, wow was she warm.

Rhyme watches in interest, smiling all the while and when Tammy finally settles she gently strokes some of the feathers along her back.]

I'm glad, I like her too.

[Zack watches as Tammy starts to doze off right on Rhyme's lap. Wow, that's unusual.]

You must be one of those naturally-gentle types, Rhyme.

[Rhyme puts a hold on her gentle petting after giving Tammy one gentle pat on her head.]

Mm, maybe. I have a lot of practice in calming others down.

You're good at it. She's been in a lousy mood ever since I moved her out of Cloud's room. It's nice to see her settled down like this.

[Rhyme beams.]

Maybe she considered his room her home and felt like she was being taken away.

That could be it. But she's gotta learn that Cloud doesn't want her to be in certain places in the house, and she can't just nest wherever she wants. She has to share the place with everybody else.

I'm sure she will, it just might take longer than Cloud would like.

All children learn at their own pace.

[She can't resist petting Tammy a bit more, though very softly so she doesn't wake her.]

[Zack laughs again, quietly for Tammy's sake.]

That's a fact. I don't mind waiting it out. I hope Cloud can be patient with her for a bit longer.

Is Cloud a very patient person?

Hopefully he makes an exception for Tammy then.

Hopefully. He'd deny it to the grave but he's actually pretty good with kids. Not so sure about animals, though.

Maybe while I'm here I can help her feel more comfortable so she won't get give him any trouble.

It's the least I can do for being able to stay with you.

That sounds like a great idea, considering how much she likes you. Maybe she's happy to finally have a girl around the place.
