We managed to survive the week! That's a huge relief, for sure. I guess I'll have to be more careful if I'm still here next year...

Not sure if you're the one to talk to, but since the situation's changed with Jenova here, I figured we ought to talk.

Did anything come of that blood sample I donated to the clinic awhile back?

That was on my mind, actually, especially with what Cloud was saying about the cells...

From what we were able to determine, your blood does have a unique resistance to those cells. The only real questions that remained were determining how it could be implemented. As long as I can heal, the Geostigma could at least be contained... but having Jenova actually being here herself and causing these reactions is another matter entirely.

It's more than just Geostigma now. We need to find a way to destroy the Jenova cells completely.

I understand that.

The problem is, that while your blood contains the antibodies necessary to battle those Jenova cells... we don't have the precise means to duplicate those antibodies.

And as long as she can produce cells... we don't have enough blood to precisely counter her. Unless there was a way to stop them at the source, but...

I don't know if the cells already in people can duplicate... they just sort of live on forever the way she does. As far as I know the cells in my body weren't destroyed, they just can't actually do anything. That's the main issue - she can still use the cells in other people, even though the Geostigma's stopped spreading. I dunno why my immune system's able to fend her off. Maybe knowing why would help us figure the rest out.

Dammit. I'm no scientist... I wish I could do more to help. What we really need is someone who knows this stuff to be on our side.

Hm. Gelda is more experienced with the clinical side of things than I am, but even between the two of us...

It would have to be someone from your world, who has that knowledge available, since for now most of what we do know is either second hand or guesswork... can you think of anyone else from your world that was brought here that might be able to help? Cloud and Tifa only had their observations... I'm not certain of the others.

I'll try asking around. Cloud knows way more people from our world than I do, so I'll see what he can do. I think Vincent knows a lot more about Sephiroth and Jenova than he lets on, too.

They were having difficulty sleeping... did Cloud ever test the herbs to see if it would help?

He says it worked great, and he's giving it to the kids now. I'm pretty sure they'll be fine with it; he was out like a light when he used it, and it usually takes a lot to put out a SOLDIER.

That's a relief. I'll have to stop by with some more later on.

Which reminds me, Simon said he was having trouble with his work... if anyone there can help him out when he's feeling a little more up to it, I'm sure he would appreciate it.

Uh... probably Aerith or Tifa would be good with that if Spike can't. Reports have never been my specialty.
