Passed it again, huh. I keep losing track... wonder if it's a good thing.

Hey, so... does anybody have a particular day - or more than one, I guess - that means something to them? Not their birthday or a holiday or anything like that, I mean a regular, normal day where something important or significant happened to them. Could be good or bad, whatever.

[Zack's in a weird mood today, for... various reasons. He's also lounging in the hammock outside House 50, enjoying it while he can before the cold weather forces him to take it down, so if you happen to be in the area, feel free to bother him that way instead.]

[Zack might be able to hear her giggling in stereo as she comes into view of the hammock. That is so not a serious face.] I thought you wanted serious conversation.

[Zack glances over as she approaches. Hey there beautiful. |D] I was mostly just looking back. Wasn't really asking for anything.

[She stands by the hammock, leaning over him.] Did you find anything interesting?

Pretty much what I expected- that everybody's about the same as far as good and bad experiences go.

Hopefully more good than bad. [She pulls the hammock up a little with one hand and then lets it go.]

I think it was more of a balance, but that's better than the alternative. [Zack grins and shifts over to make room. Want to join him?]

[The unspoken invitation has her lying down beside him, a gentle kick setting the hammock rocking.]

Did you find a balance too?

I usually manage it one way or another. [He winds an arm around her, fingers lightly grazing over her hair.] Though it's easier with company.

[She shifts a bit, finding the most comfortable way to rest within his grasp. Her hand brushes over him as she slings her arm over his waist.] Well, company doesn't like to keep you balanced. Company'll try to push you toward the good or the bad, in my experience.

[Zack tilts into the touch just a smidgen, eyes closing.] So which way are you going to push me, then?

Hmm, maybe I'm feeling a bit impish today. I wonder. Should I be nice to my boyfriend or not... [She lifts her hand up, having her fingers "walk" up Zack's side as she thinks.]

[kdsjhsjdasf that kinda tickles but there's nowhere to go. FIDGET.] Is your boyfriend allowed to voice an opinion?

[She stops with the finger-walking, resting her hand on his side as she grins.] I might even take that opinion into consideration!

[Well, isn't that a nice surprise.] Real generous of you. The boyfriend thinks you should be totally nice to him, or you might not get breakfast in bed.

Breakfast bribery. I guess I might have to play nice, then.

...Raine's going to give me a check-up when she sees Cloud. [It mostly sounds like a casual remark.]

What...? [What, whoa, that came out of nowhere. Zack's kind of taken aback at first, but after a moment's thought he doesn't look as surprised as he probably ought to.] ...Really? You don't mind?

[Nope, not as surprised as he ought to, which makes Aerith frown a bit.] I do. But Cloud already asked. Plus, I'd like it better if you two aren't wondering if I'm hearing things.

Hey, I think I have even more of a reason to be worried, y'know. I've never heard any voices in my head, and all the people who do have wound up being kinda crazy. It won't kill anybody just to be sure, especially since the Malnosso made this happen.

I'm not "kinda crazy". [Said without any heat, looking down at the hammock's netting instead of Zack.]

[Zack sits up at that, hands grasping his crossed legs at the ankles.] ...No one's saying that. It's them we don't trust, not you.

[The hammock sways with Zack's movement, and Aerith shifts closer to the center for stability. She sighs; she can guess he didn't mean anything bad by it, but it doesn't help that he mentioned everyone hearing voices being crazy. Looks up at him, shrugs with one shoulder.] You'll know soon enough, okay?

[Zack offers up a hopeful smile. Don't be mad, please?] Okay. I'm fine with waiting a bit- I mean, from what I've heard, it's not being creepy or telling you to do bad things or anything. It sounds like a nice voice.

[But Jenova probably sounded nice when you had nothing else, too.]

[Well that's debatable. Considering Aerith's been hearing people die at least since she was seven, her idea of "creepy" could be really skewed.] This planet should have a voice.
