[Okay, so. He'd been en route to Midgar with Cloud. With a motorcycle, it had been awesome. And they'd been making good progress! Sure, he wasn't all that certain about directions, but being underground for so long can screw with a guy a little. There's no helping it. He'd been in a pretty good mood, though.

So if things had been going well for the first time in ages, why did he wake up this morning and find himself in the woods, alone and unarmed, in a fresh pair of white pants that didn't belong to him? It meant he hadn't been captured, since he wasn't in the lab, so... what? Seriously, what?

More importantly, where is Cloud!?

There's a sense of panic he hasn't felt since the troopers in Nibelheim had first started dragging Cloud away from him, so he wastes no time getting up and heading off to get a look around. If the military isn't responsible for this, maybe Cloud just wandered off (somehow) after whoever it was had taken Zack out. Man, so much for life getting easier...

tl;dr Zack will be ducking around the village early-ish in the morning, trying to make the most of the late November sunrise by doing his best ninja impression. He's trying not to be seen, but how effective he is at doing so? Really depends. SOLDIERs are sadly not ninjas.]

Luceti? Never heard of it. Is it a new town? [He still doesn't know how long he was underground, so... it wouldn't be that surprising.]

[Sorry Zack, you can't walk out. Selphie answers his question grimly.] They bring us here to experiment on us.

[...God, seriously? Because he hasn't had enough of that already in Nibelheim.]

Tell me about it. [He doesn't look overly impressed about that and Selphie can't really blame him.]

How can they experiment on us when we're free like this? We're not really prisoners or anything.

We're free to go anywhere within this area but we aren't allowed to leave.

[...Um.] But the woods are right there. You can walk right out at any time.

There's a barrier as well.

A barrier? What, that keeps us in? [He's never heard of that.]

[She shrugs her shoulders.]

Man... now I really don't have time to waste. Hey, have you seen a guy that have eyes kind of like mine? Spiky blond hair, real quiet, probably not moving around too well?

[Selphie gives Zacks' eyes a good inspection and they're glowing? Is that something the Malnosso did?]

I think I know who you mean. Tell me more about him?

[Nope, it's all him bb.]

Uh... well, he's not really talking right now, so his appearance is all I can give... he's probably dressed in some kind of navy blue outfit.

Some kind of navy blue outfit isn't very specific. What else?

A belt? He's got this belt... [Zack grabs a stick and draws the SOLDIER emblem in the dirt.]

[Selphie frowns thoughtfully at the emblem in the dirt before shaking her head.]

I'm sorry, I've never seen that logo before. Maybe if you told me his name?

[Hrm. He's probably given away enough at this point to take a risk, much as he doesn't want to. He can take her if necessary 8|]

[Selphie's eyes widen before she beams at Zack. Boy is he in for a surprise.]

He's somewhere inside the barrier and he's talking just fine. You should try contacting him over the journal sometime because you seem really worried about him.

What, really!? That's great! I have to find him right away! [How could he be talking!? Did they sure his mako poisoning? omg omg omg.]

He didn't tell me where he was though, that's the only thing. The best way to get ahold of him would be to use a journal.
