[Today Zack has a few errands to run- first of all, since Sokka's back, he stops off at the smithy to pick up a little something that he's hoping is finished by now. He's in luck, too, because after that visit is done he leaves the smithy with this glorious piece of weaponry slung over his back. It may look like a mess, but he is ridiculously excited about it. Thus, a voice post:]

Hey, any weapon fans out there who name their blades? How do you pick 'em out? I've never done it before, but it seems kinda fitting to start...

Oh, and I could use a couple of sparring partners over in the Battle Dome this afternoon of anybody's interested. Especially- Yuri, Light? ...Cloud? You guys up for it? I need somebody who can handle a big broadsword or two. [...Or six.

And that's where Zack'll be for the majority of the afternoon. Once he's had his fill of sparring (assuming he had some takers) he pops over to the community building Cloud lived in to check on him.

A short while later, after returning home with one less friend and one more sword than he planned to return with (and informing certain housemates of what he found) he adds to his journal-]

Hey, anybody who knew Cloud Strife... he's gone back home again. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Oh, sure. It's not like we need a job from you right now or anything. We take commissions and jobs pretty much all the time!

Have you ever built a headquarters before?

[.....did he just land them yet another building job...?

Yuri isn't going to be pleased.]

Headquarters, huh... well, we modified the SOS Brigade building, so I think that counts. We also built the rec center in the west end of the village.

What about something a little more complicated than that? Like.. something underground with lots of security?

[...A what?]

Why would you need something like that?

Because I'm rebelling and I've got a group going already. It's a lot better to have it underground.

Rebelling...? [Against what, the snow?]

[magentarific]

Mhm, against the Malnosso.

[wingenvy]

Well... the village already has a tunnel system. I don't know if we'd be able to work around that.

[magentarific]

Do the tunnels extend through the entire thing? I don't have a problem going and claiming territory in them to build there.

That, I'm not too sure about. I know that a good chunk of 'em are blocked off on the west side of the village- there's some kind of barrier in that area. The east tunnels are pretty clear, though, so maybe you could grab a few of the tunnels there. Though, uh- do you and your group have any special powers?

A few of us our dead already, one can hypnotize people into doing whatever he wants, one's a jedi, we've got some fighters... Obviously we're still starting up so we'll get more eventually.

[...That's... quite a collection. And he's not sure what half of that even means.]

Might be tricky, then. The tunnels cancel out any powers.

That's fine. I don't need powers to fight and I've got experience in making traps.

Huh. Then I guess you could take over the side tunnels? The ones on the east, I mean. There's just one room that's already claimed for the village, and I think there's a little jail set up somewhere down there, but you should go check it out! See what you find and how you like it.
